Having only visited the island 9 months before our wedding events, the team ensured that everything was ready for our arrival 3 days before the events commenced – they were so prepared that it allowed us to enjoy the free days we had before the events to explore Langkawi with all of our friends and family! The relationship Hanngevent had with the Westin hotel and each of our vendor’s was evident in the way our events ran so perfectly well. Trust me, a wedding planner is a MUST have in your important day of your life. They will save you for the coordination work, troubles, hassles with perfect experience of what hiccups to go through. They know their job so well that we rely much on them about the venue, ceremony, decoration, and photographer. Whatever request I throw in, even with the diaper request, they could get a satisfactory answer to us, almost immediately. Our job is to chit-chat, dance and drink. Nothing else more! Compared to most of the traditional Chinese wedding, I couldn’t be happier that this is something that I want and they deliver to us! I am glad that we engage the team. Without them, I wonder who else can do the job. Kudos to them and look forward to see u guys soon!

I must say I was at first skeptical of using a wedding/events planner where the company name and the planner’s name was the same. But at the end, it was all really worth it. I had a wedding at the Westin Langkawi (great venue btw) and had 131 guests to come to a destination resort. Many of them are from Hong Kong, Singapore, North America, etc. Sheau and her team were extremely meticulous from day 1, making sure we got the best deals, suggesting locations to have pre-wedding rehearsal dinner based on location, guest preferences and quality. In addition, price to value negotiation was her forte. Everyone had a great time. The guests felt taken care of. Sheau herself even made sure that my phone and wallet were taken care of when I got thrown by my friends into the pool during the wedding reception!!! And she made sure we all got towels to dry up! Not to mention bargaining down the corkage fees for drinking. With Hanngevent, my wife and me had a blast because they took care of the big and little things! I’ve been involved in a number of event planning around the world, Boston, Shanghai, Hong Kong and I gotta say, There’s “event planners” out there and then there’s Hanngevent where she really tries hard and actually achieves the outcome and then some!
